Ayurvedic Detox & Cleanse

In Ayurvedic medicine, digestion is the key to maintaining health and longevity. A strong digestion means a strong body.
Digestion is a reflection of your mental-physical-spiritual state of balance.
Poor dietary habits, stress and environmental pollutants can weaken your digestion. A weak digestion results in the
accumulation of toxins (known as ama in ayurveda), which in turn causes disease and aging. Signs of poor digestion
and toxins are fatigue, lack of mental clarity, depression, recurrent infections and weight gain.
Just from the experience of my clients, I have seen benefits ranging from relief of allergies, constipation, fatigue, rashes,
joint problems, muscle aches…the list could really go on and on. And for most people, I often recommend that they
kick-start their wellness journey with a cleansing program, no matter the ultimate goal. There are so many issues that don’t
have to be a part of our lives if we only take the time to reset our digestive systems and remove the toxins that tend to build up.
The workshop includes 2-hour classes on two consecutive Sundays. Maximum attendees: 8
The first Sunday covers awareness of what physical balance and imbalance means for YOU. We provide a complete list of
detox week food and a to-do list for physical cleansing. Please know that the week will be unlike any other you have experienced.
It requires commitment and an optimistic approach to accepting change and letting go, while discovering and embracing the
knowledge and wisdom that’s innate within you.
The second week covers emotional cleansing, methods for removing old thought patterns and emotional baggage that create
toxins in the body that stick around creating dis-ease.
Spiritual cleansing creates awareness beyond the weeks’ physical and emotional learning.
We go over med4itation and breathing techniques and methods to reconcile thoughts, physical symptoms and the spiritual
question of why you are doing this detox this week.
The detox or cleansing involves fasting, diet control, exercise and some herbal supplements.
Emphasis is on education, putting the detox into practice, and creating a lifelong awareness for wellbeing.
Attendees can come in for private confidential sessions during or the week following detox week for emotional healing
